My Story

From very shy to serving San Diego

I was probably the shyest person you would ever meet. I was terrified of speaking in front of people. Most people I grew up with still know my name and my face, but they will tell you they cannot recognize me beyond that. The change in me is real, and I know that I know that I know that only God did it.

God has produced fruit and confirmed His direction for me in a setting that once looked very unlikely. He has been teaching me to be at peace in situations that would have made me uncomfortable in the natural. Today I look for daily opportunities to minister to people. I ask the Holy Spirit to highlight someone to me, and He does.

I have grown to love the people of San Diego and my community. I remember names now. I am eager to follow up with the people I have prayed with and hear what has happened since.

Why Cyber Chaplain

I have worked in web design and technology for years, and I have always noticed that people at work are carrying more than the task in front of them. Meeting online lets me be there for people wherever they are, and it is what led to the name. The candle in the logo is the CC, for Cyber Chaplain: a small light that stays lit in a dark hour.

Stop holding on. Start letting go.

Meet with me online, in private. We will take it one step at a time.
